Privacy Policy
We believe in transparency about how we collect, use, and share your information. This policy explains our practices clearly.
Section 01
Information We Collect
When you receive and remain subscribed to our newsletter, we collect the following categories of information:
Email address — the primary identifier used to deliver our newsletter to you.
Name — where provided, used for personalization.
Engagement data — open rates, click-through rates, and other interaction metrics associated with emails we send.
Device and technical data — email client type, approximate geographic region (derived from IP address), and similar delivery-related metadata collected automatically when you open or interact with our emails.
Preference data — any opt-out or opt-in preferences you communicate to us.
We do not collect payment information, social security numbers, government IDs, or sensitive personal health information through our newsletter.
Section 02
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
Delivering our newsletter and related editorial content to your inbox.
Measuring and improving newsletter performance, including open and engagement rates.
Matching our audience with relevant advertising partners whose products and services may be of value to you.
Honoring your communication preferences, including unsubscribe and data-sharing opt-out requests.
Complying with applicable law, including the CAN-SPAM Act and applicable state privacy laws.
Our Advertising Commitment. We strive to bring you only top-tier, relevant advertisers who add genuine value to your business and industry. We do not work with advertisers we would not endorse personally, and we review all advertising relationships on an ongoing basis.
Section 03
Data Sharing with Advertising Partners
We are transparent about the fact that we share subscriber data with advertising partners. This data sharing is how we fund the production and delivery of our newsletter at no cost to subscribers.
What we share: We may share your email address, engagement metrics (such as open rates and click behavior), and audience segment information (such as your general industry or role, where determinable) with advertising partners for the purpose of targeted or sponsored content campaigns.
Who we share with: We share data only with advertising partners who have agreed to use it solely for the purposes of the specific campaign, and who are prohibited from reselling or redistributing your data to unknown third parties.
What we do not do: We do not sell your personal information on the open market, share your data with data brokers, or provide your information to parties unrelated to the delivery or funding of our newsletter.
Notice of Data Sharing. By continuing to receive our newsletter, you acknowledge our Privacy Policy, which includes data sharing with advertising partners as described in this section. You may opt out of data sharing at any time while remaining subscribed — see Section 4 below.
We may also disclose your information where required by law, in response to a valid legal process, or to protect the rights and safety of our company or others.
Section 04
Your Choices & Opt-Out Rights
You have meaningful choices about how your information is used. We make these options easy to exercise:
Unsubscribe from the newsletter: Every email we send includes a clearly visible unsubscribe link. We will honor all unsubscribe requests within 10 business days, as required by the CAN-SPAM Act.
Opt out of data sharing only: You may opt out of the sharing of your data with advertising partners while continuing to receive the newsletter. To do so, click the opt-out link in the footer of any email we send, or contact us directly at the address below.
Update your information: You may request correction of inaccurate information we hold about you at any time by contacting us.
California residents: If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), including the right to know, delete, and correct personal information we hold about you, and the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. See Section 5 for more detail.
Washington State residents: You have additional rights under Washington's Consumer Electronic Mail Act (CEMA) and, where applicable, the Washington My Health MY Data Act.
As seen in every email we send:

We strive to bring you only top-tier, relevant advertisers who add genuine value to your business and industry."
Section 05
Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you are located, you may have specific legal rights with respect to your personal information. We honor the following rights for all subscribers, regardless of location:
🔍 Right to Know
You may request a summary of the personal information we hold about you and how it is used.
🗑️ Right to Delete
You may request deletion of your personal information from our records. We will comply subject to any legal retention obligations.
✏️ Right to Correct
You may request correction of inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.
🚫 Right to Opt Out
You may opt out of data sharing with advertising partners at any time, as described in Section 4.
📤 Right to Portability
Where technically feasible, you may request a copy of your data in a portable format.
⚖️ No Discrimination
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights. Opting out will not affect newsletter delivery.
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the information in Section 7. We will respond to all verifiable requests within 45 days. For California residents, we will respond within the timeframes required by the CCPA/CPRA.
Note for EU/UK residents: While our newsletter is primarily directed at U.S.-based business professionals, if you are located in the European Union or United Kingdom, please note that the legal basis for processing your data is our legitimate interest in delivering the newsletter, subject to your right to object at any time. We do not rely on implied consent for data sharing with advertising partners for EU/UK subscribers — please contact us to ensure your preferences are appropriately recorded.
Section 06
Data Security & Retention
We take reasonable and industry-standard measures to protect the information we hold about you from unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse. These measures include:
Use of reputable, enterprise-grade email service providers with their own security programs.
Limiting internal access to subscriber data to those with a legitimate need.
Contractual requirements on advertising partners prohibiting unauthorized use or redistribution of shared data.
We retain your personal information for as long as you remain subscribed to our newsletter, or as required by law. If you unsubscribe, we will retain your email address on a suppression list to ensure we do not contact you again, unless you re-subscribe.
While we take security seriously, no system is impenetrable. In the event of a data breach that affects your rights or freedoms, we will notify you and any applicable regulators as required by law.
